Re:Exclamation
hi Pygmy NK,
> When can I use these words, 'Bloody Hell' 'Cool' & 'terrific'
'bloody hell' is an exclamation of surprise, particularly an unpleasant surprise (although not always). it should not be used in formal situations, since both of these words are considered mild swearing. nor should it be used to express surprise in situations where 'thankyou' is expected. but it is widely used amongst informal friends. 'cool' can be used informally to mean 'that's nice' or even 'that's ok'. 'terrific' can be used either formally or informally to mean 'excellent' or 'very good'.
