Re:Got Gaelic?
Hi im not to sure if my last message got sent so just incase ill retype what I just said.
So we don't really say hello instead how we greet someone is determined by the time of the day, so if it's morning it would be Mathaine Vhaie
Afternoon- Faisgarmath pronounced face gar mah
Evening/ night- Uighiemaht
My name is Jimi would be A neiarm a-rm shea seamus and what is your name would be Cairm a thort
Thank you is Tabalath pronounced tap a lat
Also we don't usually say Goodbye there isn't a direct translation I could think of right now for that but one well used instead that is equally as useful is good day to you which is Lahamha uaith
Hope that is of some help in getting you on your way :) and feel free to ask anything if you get stuck!
