The government is ruled by a king or a queen. Monarchy
A government that has a king or queen with an elected parliament. Constitutional Monarchy
Rule by a single leader who has not been elected and may use force to keep control. Dictatorship
Led by representatives of the voters. Each is chosen for a set period of time. Republic
A situation in which there is no form of government. Often follows a civil war and rival groups are fighting for power. anarchy
