I start my lesson with day-to-day conversations in the Swahili language.
I then introduce a student to the nouns used in the language, nouns that are commonly used in that foreign language, e.g family, food, days of the week, institutions, plants, parts of the body.
After learning the nouns, I introduce verbs that can be used with the nouns.
There after I introduce phrases following the classificatio n of nouns in the Swahili language.
Th en I introduce the writing of short essays. |
