I use the target language as much as possible from the first class, in order to develop the listening and speaking skills of the student. I use different material, such as books, newspapers, magazine, articles, etc. in order to teach the student the 'real' language. I like to have plenty of conversation about different topics, so the learner will soon be able to have a real conversation. Depending on the needs of the student I focus also on writing, reading and listening and prepare tests for international exams, such as the DELE for Spanish. |

From my course work as well as from my personal experience, I have found out that one of the most effective ways to assist students for whom Italian or Spanish is a second language is by presenting comprehensibl e and stimulating lessons which facilitate all learning abilities and involve as many of the senses as possible.
I incorporate a variety of resources to accommodate students via video, audio, and tactile methods. We integrate phonics activities and technologies to facilitate the students’ comprehension and retention of the concepts and language.
My goal is to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to feel confident and to be able to communicate in a natural and fluent way.
