Teaching approach: |
I believe that learning languages should not not only be educational, it should also be interesting and fun. It is never easy to learn a foreign language and as one grows older, the ability to learn it decreases.
As one gets older, it becomes harder to memorize phrases and even more so, to remember when they're appropriate to use. So this has to be taken into consideration as well when teaching someone a foreign language.
I am fluent in both English and Tagalog, both in its spoken and written form. As a native of my country the Philippines, I can also offer lessons on how to conduct one's self in my country. I can educate people who want to visit the country as to the social etiquette and taboos. If you only wish to learn enough to be able to converse with Filipinos, then I can adjust lessons according to your needs. If you wish to be really profficient especially grammatically , then I will cater to your needs.
A New Yorker came to my hometown just this month in the hopes ... |

I prefer one-on-one or live person tutorials. In that way, student-teach er relationship is established fast, and learning will also be fast because I also use visual aides as a tool in learning the language fast, and at the same time the students get to appreciate it by heart. |

The teaching approach I would use would vary on the personality of the student. Assessement would be made in the first two sessions regarding the likes and dislikes in order to capture the interest and zest. I promise the sessions wo be fun and packeged with immersion programs that would put the student on test. |

Teaching approach: |
First the student establishes quantifiable goals and then those goals are accomplished through a series of exercises which include direct method sessions, eurhythmics, music and drama. Language learning is not easy but you will see solid results (16 weeks) if you follow the program. This program is not cheap; nothing worthwhile is cheap, but you will agree that it is worth every penny when you finish. |
