Hello,
My name is Leila. I was born here in Canada, but my father is from Iran. That is the primary reason that I'd like to learn Farsi...it is part of my heritage. We are planning on going to Iran someday soon so that I can meet all of my family, and I would love to be able to speak with them in their language. I currently live in Northern Ontario, and since I'm hours away from any major city where people would even speak Farsi, I think online and/or telephone tutoring is my only option. I'm very flexible. Basically, I am looking for a tutor that can teach me to carry on a conversation in Farsi, if not speak fluently. Thank you very much for your time in considering me as a prospective student!

I want to learn more English to improve my confidence and accuracy. From time to time I use expressions or even words that are not correct. I had fun with that already, but even when it might be absolutely unavoidable, I would prefer to learn more and have less mistakes when addressing people.
Everyday conversations and business conversations are important for me. Working to reduce my accent is truly important as well. I have studied English with many private teachers for many years back in Mexico, did my TOEFL, finished a MBA at the U of A and currently I work for the Government. I have a Canadian girlfriend, therefore my everyday life is in English, I would prefer to work more on the lenguage though.
I am able to meet 1 time per week from 1 to 2 hours. I am disciplined, commited and willing to learn.

I grew up in ShenZhen(Besi des Hongkong). All of my friends are very frequent in Cantonese, but not me. After coming to Vancouver, I want to learn Cantonese and get to meet more friends from Hongkong. By the way, I can understand Cantonese 99.9 percent. I just need to practice my speaking.
