I would like to learn portuguese because I am planning to travel to Brazil later this year and I am actually half Brazilian but I have never learnt the language. My proficiency level is definitely beginner and I would like to dedicate the next eight months or so to learning the language. I would like maybe one or two lessons per week, maybe one lesson focusing on grammar and one focusing on speaking and conversation. It is important to me to find a teacher who is going to try completely immerse me in the language, someone who can recommend lots of good films and maybe even some books to help me learn. Preferably, I would like to find a teacher that speaks Brazilian portuguese, and also who knows about Brazilian culture.

I wish to learn punjabi for personal reasons. I have absolutely no knowledge of the language so i will need a teacher who can work well with beginners.
