1) Beginner: I have never had a tutor before and my only knowledge of Japanese comes from books I have borrowed from the library. In truth, I know little of this language.
2) I wish to learn Japanese because of personal interest. Ever since I was very young I have admired the Japanese and I want to visit (maybe live) in Japan one day.
3) I need improvement in everything.
4) I believe, any amount of time is alright. As long I can be assured to learn a lot and never forget what I learn then I am willing to spend all the time needed.
5) As long as the teacher does not make me doze off the first second he/she starts talking and as long as she/he makes the lessons enjoyable, fun, and unforgetable. I would also appreciate it a lot if I can learn and have tests/convers ations with the teacher.

I want to start at the beginner level. I wish to learn the German language because I will be attending Germany in a little over a month and will be interacting constantly with German people. Also, it will be very useful and efficient to me, as I plan to go into the political field in the future. I want ti dedicate as nuch time as possible to my language sessions, considering the availability on my schedule. Our family has been searching for a person willing to provide private tutoring in Chinese (Mandarin). Our six year old daughter was born in China and has expressed a strong interest in learning Mandarin. Her older brother (age 16) and sister (10) also have expressed a desire to learn to speak Mandarin. They would be at a beginner level; no previous instruction. We are looking for someone to provide private tutoring to the children on a weekly basis either in our home or elsewhere in Slidell (Louisiana).
