I am a college instructor interested in learning Chinese (Mandarin) so that I can spend my next sabbatical in China. I have studied at the college level for one year, and now I would like to continue my study with individual instruction. I especially need help with pronounciatio n and listening comprehension . I can spend one or more hours each week in actual instruction and additional time in self-study. I would like an instructor who is patient but who will push me to do well.
