Hi my name is Kate Ridenour. Although I took a semester of French in high school, I am a beginner and know virtually no French. I have a B.A. in Spanish which will undoubtly help in learning another latin based language.
I am in the process of applying to the peace corp. Many of the placements I am interested in are in French speaking Africa and some knowledge is required in order to win the positions. Furthermore, I simply have a great love for languages.
The amount of time I will be able to spend in classes is largely contigent on the cost. My budget is very very tight.
Important qualities in a teacher are that they speak the language with well and with a good accent and possesion of patience.

Although I'm Korean-Americ an, my speaking is relatively poor, although I can understand enough to get by in some contexts. I am learning for both career advancement and personal reasons. I am looking to improve my speaking ability most: I want to become solidly conversant. I can dedicate several hours a week and am a hard worker.
I am looking for someone who is patient and dedicated and focused at the task at hand. I don't want to learn much history or writing/readi ng skills, just communication , because I'm in the area for a short time (early August).

I am a bigginer. I dont know much about the Arabic language but I would like to learn it. I know spanish fluently, i took french in high school, and german in college.
I can dedicate every afternoon to an hour of classes. I would like to learn all aspecs of the language: grammar, conversation, etc.
I want a teacher who knows what he or she is talking about. He or she has to be friendly and fun. You have to keep my attention.
