Hello, I have previously taken ASL I and know the basic alphabet and numbers and a few words. I currently work with a student who does not speak but mainly fingerpspells and I would like to be able too teach her more words and enable her to communicate effectively. I can dedicate a couple hours daily to learning this language on line. My qualities in a teacher would include one with flexibility in my learning process and also effective in also teaching me the culture.

Hello, my name is Justin Wolf. I am a beginner and hope to become an expert. I want to learn this language because I hope to reside there after i get out of high school. I need improvement in everything because i want to know everything about the language. I really dont know what i want ot be, I just really love the beauty of the land and the history of samurai and of japan. I hope to dedicate some time (due to homework and studying for test.LOL!!). I am a complete novice in Chinese. I have Taiwanese born parents that speak Mandarin & Hakkian (Taiwanese). I don't speak either, but I understand a great deal of Taiwanese.
I want to learn chinese to get in touch with my heritage and help in dealing in business situations. The company I work for has a Taiwanese parent company.
I want to concentrate on conversationa l Chinese first, ordering food, and basic necessities, basic reading.
I am looking to spend time about one to two hours a week with a private tutor. Also, I will do homework as well
I'm looking for a patient teacher that I can identify what I need to work on and how to bring out my strengths as well. Patience is a must and pushing to frustration is not ideal for me.

I'm a beginner that will be traveling to Poland with the Rotary Youth Exchange Program for one academic year. I do not know any Polish so this class will be very beneficial to me. I will be able to take the lessons in July and August, because I will be away the whole month of June. I need to learn the basics so I can communicate with the people right from the begginning, which will help me to develop my polish grammar. I will be leaving for Bydgoszcz, Poland around August 20. I speak English and Spanish and would love to learn a third language. I am currently looking for a tutor to teach me Italian. I am available in the evenings and the price range that I can afford right now would be $15.00 dollars an hour.
