Hello, my name is Amai and I have been studying Germany for the last 4 to 5 months. I went to Germany last year and I absolutely loved it! I love the language! I started with clases but I am not really satisfied. I want to learn more German because I am planning to go and study my speciality over there! I truly want to dedicate time to this .. I am an extreme beginner. My experience to date is Pimsleur CDs, one trip to Munich and, in the distant foggy past, many many german-speaki ng relatives at family gatherings. On my mother's side I am only second generation in the States. I'll be traveling to Germany periodically for business and, in the future, vacations. I am very interested in becoming conversationa lly proficient, and in being able to pass that on to my two little girls.

I am a Filipina- American who doesn't know Filipino. I visited the Philippines last year and now wished my parents had taught me. I don't plan on going back for another two years, but in the meantime I would like to begin learning.

My daughter is 4 1/2 and i am 38 and would like to learn sign language because we have family members that are deaf. This would be biginners for both of us. I am in the process of teaching her the alphabets in signs. but we would like to have a conversation/ communicate with our relatives. An hour once a week will be good.
I am looking for someone who is willing and able to come to our home or we go to theirs as long as they live in the same city.
