My proficiency level in Mandarin Chinese is at a beginner level. I have been studying on my own for the past semester and I now have a basic understanding of the foundation of Mandarin Chinese. I am learning this foreign language because of my career future and I will dedicate as much time as needed to become fluent in this language. I am looking for a high quality teacher who has lived in Asia or has had an extensive Asian background. I am in need of these language lessons as soon as possible since I plan to move to Asia in 1.5 years. Thank you.

I have met a lovely Russian woman in Tver. She does not speak English yet and I speak just a few words of Russian. I am falling in love with this woman and plan to go back in July to see her again and to discuss getting her a Fiance Visa to come to the US.
I would like to learn as much as possible between now and July so that she and I will be able to communicate at least a little without an interpreter.
I am looking for an Excperienced Russian Teacher for Private Lessons. I can come to their location, I would like at least 2 lessons per week and will devote as much time as I can to learn as quickly as I can.
I have bought several tapes and CD's teaching Russian, but need hear the laguage while I am learning to read and speak it.

Joris (18), Bas (16), Frank (14) and Max (10) Derksen will be moving fm the Netherlands to the Capital Region this summer. To keep up - or better improve - their Dutch, they are looking for a Dutch tutor. Ideally, the tutor could tutor at the school location, which presumably will be the British School of Washinton, located centrally in DC. There may be a possibility of other Dutch students at the BSW wishing joining the band wagon. Keeping up their Dutch is particularly important to the boys, as they will be returning to Dutch in the Netherlands schools eventually, and their Dutch was already somewhat affected by a prior stay abroad.
