I am searching for a native German speaking teacher. You should be patient and teach me to understand the grammar and then I feel that I can master the language. I have lived in Frankfurt, Germany for 4 years, and just recently returned to NYC. The reason I am learning German is because I intend to return sometime in the future and live and work there on a permanent basis. In order to that, I must be able to have full command of German. My goal is to learn German fluently - grammar, conversation, reading and writing. I plan to devote a few hrs a week to attain my goal. I'm A United States Marine. I'm 20 years old. I do not know any Japanese. I would like to learn to read, speak, and possibly write Japanese Fluently. With more of a priority on speaking. The reason I want to learn is there is a big chance I will be stationed out in Okinawa Japan within the next year to 2 years. I'm very busy, Being in the military and a River Oaks Volunteer Firefighter I would need a Teacher who can be fexible. I am willing to dedicate a few times a month, one day a week. Whatever it takes but All depending on the cost.

I have been studying (books and cds)at home for about 3 years. I can speak very little, but am familiar with some vocabulary, grammar, and can read hiragana and katagana. very little kanji learned. I want to be able to converse enough to get around Japan and communicate with people about simple things. I would be willing to dedicate several hours a week to practice. I want the teacher to be able to answer my questions as to why things are said in a certain way (if that makes sense!). I would like the lessons to be in Japanese as much as possible.
