I know a beginners level of Croatian, but I'd like to improve and hopefully become pretty close to fluent. I would like to work on conversation skills but I may need help with grammar as well. I wish to learn Russian due to my visits in the Ukraine. I have a little knowledge of Russian, but not yet conversation as I need work on my grammar and vocabulary. I can dedicate approximately 3-4 hours per week (no more than one hour per week being tutored). I am looking for a teacher that is patient with good pronunciation skills as Russian is very difficult in this aspect. This teacher should have experience teaching and is punctual to meetings.

My goal is to become fluent in Russian. I have been studying it for some time on my own but need help in taking my Russian to the next level. Also, I need practice related to what I am learning. Finally, my preference is 'to call the shots' rather than go through a set program/metho dology. I want the teaching process to be interactive. If I need to stop and spend a lot of time on one topic, so be it. My goal is mastery, not a superficial understanding of the language at whirlwind pace. Speaking personally, I teach English as a Second Language and make the times I spend with my students exactly what they want them to be. In other words, I would like someone to 'do unto me' as I 'do unto others' :-)

I have a background already in Russian, My goal is to gain fluency to a point where I can take exams for college, and not need to take 3 more semesters worth of studies. I can read, I know some vocabulary, my grammar is terrible to the point of being non existent.
