my proficiency level is beginner.
I want to learn korean language because i'm korean but was born and raised in russia, so i never got an opportunity to learn what should be my native language. Primarily, i would like to learn conversationa l Korean, because my fiance is korean and his family isn't very proficient in English.

Hello, I'm a native New Yorker who has chosen to learn Cantonese. I'm just pass the begining level - I'm able to construct simple sentences and ask questions.
I'm learning Cantonese because I've been picking up bits of the language from co-workers and friends for a couple of years. I want to know a second language, and I like the challenge.
I need to improve my conversationa l skills, as well as grammar. I especially need help comprehending spoken Cantonese. I'd like two hours per week, not neccesarily back to back.
I'd like to have a teacher who will be able to answer questions about grammar; it would be great if he/she knew some word etymology too.
