Hello, my name is Cory and I have recently moved to San Diego. I have set goals to learn not only Korean, but Japanese and Mandarin Chinese. I have a great passion for the Asian cultures. Although I'm eager to learn, it's hard for me to learn without a teacher who can guide me, so therefor I am pretty much at a beginners level in any language I've tried to pursue. I couldn't find a teacher that I could afford where I had lived previously, but now that I am even closer to graduation, I really hope to have a head start on what I want to do in my life. I wish to travel and work in South Korea, maybe teach English like my sister had (though she knew absolutely no Korean).
I belive that communication and understanding is the most important thing in the word. I want to spend as much time as my teacher is available to give,seeing as my school schedule is very flexible this year. My school is also willing to work with any other programs and teachers that would be teaching any of their students. I need a patient teacher as I unfortuantly have a hard time remembering things, so I need consistancy and review. I wish to learn not only language but if my teacher could teach me some of the customs, I would greatly appriciate any other information on the culture.
I hope that I can find someone willing to work with me, in some way.

I am trying to learn Mandarin, Chinese. I am currently an international business degree major and currently speak Spanish, and Farsi. I would like to learn Mandarin by next summer, for thats when I will be graduating, and I would possibly like to do an internship in China before advancing my education with a Masters in International business.
I am an absolute beginner. I have Rosetta Stone for Madarin, but it's far more difficult than I expected, and I feel like I need a solid jump start.
I would like to dedicate as much time to learning this as possible. I am extremely dedicated to learning Mandarin, I will do whatever it takes to learn it.
I am looking for someone who can teach me conversation speaking, but as well as being able to tackle the business world to the best of my ability in speaking Mandarin.
