I am an Air Force officer and I am interested in increasing my proficiency in Japanese (lived there for 4 years and have been studying for 7 years). I would also like to learn some Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. I am a dedicated student, fully capable of tackling multiple languages at one time and doing well in all. I work shiftwork, so I can devote 2-4 hours each week for 1 on 1 lessons in each language. I would welcome a face to face meeting before you decide on taking me as a student.

I started learning Spanish in middle school and high school and really enjoyed it. As an adult I still have the desire to become fluent in the language. I want to learn this language so I can communicate with those who speak the language in addition to career advancement. I am still a beginner, but am steadily making progress. I think I could use a lot of improvement with grammar and sentence structure. I would love to dedicate at least two to three days a week to become fluent. I am looking for a teacher who is patient/under standing of my beginner mistakes and is willing to help me through the conversationa l method.
