My wife and I will adopt children from Ukraine or Russia. I started learning russian with books and cd before our trip to Russia in 2008 but it did not work very well. My wife and I know the very basic and we would like to read, speak and understant fluently.
I can read cyrilic slowly.

A few years ago my Mandarin level was Advanced Conversation and intermediate reading. The level is considerably lower at this point.
I would like to focus on fluency, grammar, conversation, tones. My feeling is that I need considerable opportunities for speaking and listening with a dedicated teacher who can correct recurring mistakes and help regain some lost fluency.
T ime to dedicate: 2 hours / week up to 5 hours / week
