I'm learning for social interactions. I am looking for a steady pace course but can learn up to speed. I need progress in the fundamentals of the Cantonese language structure and basic overall vocabulary. I have taken French courses in high school which have given me the basics. I'm looking to learn more grammar for spoken French, I know words, but can't put them together properly to form a sentence.
My boyfriend is from Quebec and his family speaks minimal to no English, so I would like to be able to communicate more with them as well as him, so I can practice more. I have been to Quebec once and found if very difficult, I thought knowing words would be okay but it was much more difficult than I thought.
I would like weekly sessions of 2 hours, I'm not sure how many weeks, I believe that's where I would look for some feedback from the instructor.

I'm a beginner Portuguese learner. I prefer Brazilian Portuguese. I'm a professional translator (6 languages) and have been learning languages for more than 20 years. I'd like to learn PO(BR) out of general interest. Three to four hours a week would suffice. I'm a very fast learner. I'd like a teacher who can motivate me through interesting lessons geared to hone conversationa l skills. I can read about grammar and boost vocabulary on my own.
I would also like to learn Italian, Icelandic, Slovenian and Serbian/Croat ian for the same reasons.

I want to learn to speak high German because it's my lost family tongue, I have little, at least a little, experience hearing it not speaking it on full conversation. ..
I wish to dedicate 2 hours, that's TWO hours, a day, twice a week for how ever long it may take til' fluent.
A patient, yet extremely skilled teacher that is displeased with mistakes is what I prefer, for the money i pay, I'd better get the full deal!
