I’m looking to learn Tagalog out of the interest in the Filipino culture. I would love to learn many languages but i want to start with this one. I’m a beginner but I know common words and sentences from the help of colleges at work. I’m looking for improvement in grammar and conversations . I’m looking to hopefully become fluent. I’m looking to dedicate as much time as needed In order to succeed in becoming fully fluent. I am looking for a kind and patient teacher, as I find sometimes I don’t understand things straight away and may need things explained differently.

Hi, my name is Paul. I am married to a filipina and have been trying to learn tagalog for a number of years through books and online courses. We are planning to spend our retirement in both Canada and the Philippines, so its time to try and learn tagalog again :-). Hopefully this website is the missing piece in my studies. I am open to both penpals and paid lessons. I am an easy going Canadian (originally from England) and look forward to talking English and Tagalog with people.

I'm Filipino-Cana dian born here in Canada. My bf is filipino and she's from back home. Both our families speak tagalog primarily and I would like to learn the language before kids enter the picture. I have some knowledge of the language but cannot speak well enough. My vocab is limited. I would like to have 2-3 lessons a week private in my home. I'm only interested in conversationa l so I can participate more in family interactions as well as have knowledge to pass down to future children.
I need a teacher that's patient and kind. Also, I strive from structure and homework assignments would be good for studies other than just the sessions. I would classify myself as beginner.
