I would like to learn to be able to communicate with my partner & his family. They are Chinese/Cambo dian but speak Khmer primarily since the birth of his niece. I lived in Nepal for 9 months and became conversationa lly proficient while there. I became close friends with my host family, all of whom only speak Nepali. Now back in the US, I want to continue regular contact with my host family, both via phone conversations and written letters.
In my lessons, I want to continue speaking Nepali regularly, as well as learn new vocabulary to describe my day-to-day activities, and learn new grammatical structures. I'd also like to continue learning to write Nepali (spelling especially).
