I currently have no prior experience with Sanskrit as a language, in essence I am a beginner. My reason for wishing to learn sanskrit is for religious purposes. I am looking for a teacher than is willing to teach me from the beginners level all the way to advanced. I am willing to dedicate atleast 4 hours of one on one training per week, as well as 12 hours of homework study per week. The qualities I wish for in a teacher is patience, and the willingness to guide me with dedication. Thank You.

I am a beginner in the Italian language. I am Italian and I want to learn my heritage's language and I would like to prepare myself for the possibility of studying abroad. I want to learn Japanese because I plan to go there. I don't want to expect people to speak English when I go there. I want to speak the language that is native to the country. I have also always loved Japanese culture (food, movies, people, design, Miyazaki).
I would like to have one or two classes per week (about an hour long).
Con versational Japanese and reading basic Japanese is what I would like.

I have a good friend who I met in New York and who is Pakistani and lives in Pakistan. I visited with my friend in Pakistan for one month in 2008 and had a great time. I enjoy the people and the culture very much and I wish to return to Pakistan and this time, to speak Urdu. I do not understand, read or speak the language, except for a few words. When I was ther in 2008, most of the people I met accommodated me and spoke English. This time I would like to speak to them in their own language. I don't want to learn to read the alphabet. I can read transliterati ons of the words.
I would like to take a conversation class in New York, and I prefer Brooklyn. I like to interact face to face. I can take a class once a week, and the time of day is flexible. I want to learn rules of grammar, sentence structure and pronunciation in a relaxed environment, but serious.
