I lived in Odessa, Ukraine for the last 2 years. Now that I am home I don't want to loose anything I did learn, and would like to improve upon what I did learn. I have taken a year of college Russian, but was dissatisfied with fact that most of the students were native speakers. I wish to improve conversationa l skills -- comprehension , pronunciation , etc. -- but also learn more advanced reading comprehension . I am looking for a Russian language tutor who either has a degree in teaching Russian as a foreign language or some other pedadogical training -- i.e. someone who will know how to TEACH -- not just someone who knows how to read and speak properly. I live in Queens and would prefer someone from there. I am available weekday mornings, and sometimes afternoons -- rarely evenings.
