I know only a few words. I may be moving to Finland in less than a yr and I need to learn as much as possible before the move as I will have to make a living there and find a job. Furthermore my boyfriend has two young children that do not speak English so I would really love to learn the language so that I can communicate with them. I'm looking to have help with pronounciatio n and common speech phrases and things that are not so easily self taught from books. What ever one is able to teach will be much appreciated. I have evenings and weekends free, so I am willing to divote much of my free time to learning.

Although I speak a little Soumi it is not very good pronunciation is poor. My family home is Oulu but I am native English. I am coming to work in Ireland and coming home some weekeknds. I am currently a beginner as far as learning Finnish goes. I met someone from Finland two years ago, and fell absolutely in love with the Finnish language. I have been trying to learn as much about Finland as possible, and I feel like the last step will be to understand and be able to speak the language fluently. In the future, my goal is to hopefully move to Finland, and possibly become an English teacher there. I am 22 years old, and will be starting college this fall, unfortunately , where I live, and the school I may be attending, gives me no acess to anyone who can help me with this. I feel that being able to speak Finnish will get me one more step closer to my goal.
I can, and will dedicate as much time as it takes to being able to learn Finnish. I would prefer a teacher who's native language is Finnish.
