I am a beginner in learning Russian. I wish to learn quickly in order to communicate better with acquaintances in the Ukraine and Belarus. I am willing to spend several hours each day on the task, for several months, at least. I am looking for an instructor who can commit to the time required, and teach in an informal setting, at home, at a restaurant, driving, etc. Lodging can be provided, if necessary. Pay is negotiable.

I already had 1 year of Russian at university, I think a am not beginner anymore but as I speak English at work there is no progress at all.
At home I am a student of the Tourism-manag ement university in Krems, Austria. Currently I am on my practical training in Moscow.
What I need is an evening course of minimum 20 hours total plus a final test and a grade.

I'm British. I have an honours degree in Russian and French. I lived and worked in Russia for 7 years and my Russian is fluent, although I make basic grammar mistakes, covered up by the speed at which I speak. I have a good knowledge of business terminology (e.g. contracts, press releases, formal letters and proposals) and have used email in both English and Russian. I have moved to Warsaw and do not want to lose my Russian; I would prefer to improve it. I am therefore interested in either one-to-one study or a class (no luck yet with the Russian Cultural Centre). I am currently teaching English and my schedule is fairly flexible. My teacher must be a native speaker, trained in teaching Russian and flexible to various approaches (using film and literature as well as pinpointing my grammar weaknesses and helping me improve on them). It is essential that I get on well with my teacher - we don't have to become friends, but I do want to enjoy talking to him or her. I expect to be able to dedicate around 5 hours a week to my lessons, including homework.
