Good day,
I would like to make an inquiry about German language training and the possibilities of support from your office or a recommendatio n of another person or institution that could administer classes in German language.
I am currently a military officer that is schedule to be posted to Munich, Germany. As such, there is a requirement for a 10 month long German language training in Hull, Quebec at the Canadian Forces Language School. However, rather than re-locating my family to Ottawa for such a short period of time prior to being sent overseas, there is a possibility of staying here in Kingston, should there be support available here.
The course curriculum would be obtained from the Canadian Forces (CF) Language School and the German Language teacher would administer this program to me in Kingston. I would imagine that the teacher would have to have certain language qualification s, be available to teach on a daily basis during regular working hours and liaise with the CF language school concerning contractual arrangements (renumeration ) and curriculum issues. I would also imagine that we would have to determine a venue (room) suitable for this training. The training will commence in August 2009.
If you could support such a request or know of an individual or institution in Kingston that could possibly be interested in said training, please let me know. I would be grateful for any feedback you may have.
