Dear Sirs, My wife and I have been appointed by the African Inland Mission to the southwest Lake Victoria area of Tanzania. I am a physician/chu rch planter and my wife is an elementary school teacher here in the US. I am 54 and she is 50. We plan to attend orientation in Nairobi in late June,2008 then would like to proceed to full-time language school at you facility in mid-July if possible. We would expect to be there for 3-4 months and will be beginners. We would like to become proficient as soon as possible so that we can get started in the field as long-term missionaries. We would like the teacher to be dedicated to helping us accomplish this goal efficiently as well to become familiar with the peoples of Tanzania and their culture. Thank you.

I am very interested in learning Swahili. I will be traveling to Kenya in about six months to start a new business. I will pay above market rate to a teacher/tutor to learn Swahili. I would like to learn Swahili before my trip to Tanzania in September. I presently have no knowledge of Swahili. I will be living near Dar es Salaam for 3 months and I will be volunteering in a support centre for young women.
I am looking for lessons that are in the evening or on the weekend. I would strongly prefer not to spend too much money since I am doing this all for a charity.
