My name is Kara and I am assisting a Korean instructor find an Arabic speaker to help a Syrian student in her Korean beginner class.
The student has had 1.5 weeks of classes and is having difficulty picking up the basics of the writing system and pronunciation . This is making if difficult for him to keep up with the grammar that is being presented. The student has very little English, so the instructor (not speaking Arabic) can only rely on Korean to explain things to the student. Yet the students understanding of English and Korean is very weak.
Woul d you be interested in assisting the student learn the basics of Korean or act as a translator for the homeowrk he does, or if you feel you are able to could teach him Korean to support his classwork.
The student lives near Hanyang University in Seoul.

Hi my name is Sarah!
I am desperately looking for a Korean language teacher to give me private lessons. I am only beginner although I do know Hanguel fairly well. I have been living in Daejeon Korea for 3 months and would like to at least get basic Korean down so as to get around by myself. I am willing to dedicate 6-10 hours on learning the language.
