I am a beginner. My husband is Bosnian and I would like to learn the language in order to communicate with his family. I would probably like to spend 1-2 hours a week working with an instructor and could do homework/stud y on my own throughout the week. I would like a knowledgeable instructor who can teach me how to speak the language as well as teach me the grammer rules. A patient person is preferable.

I would like our family to learn Italian (2 adults + 2 children, or at least the children) for extended travel in a few years. Group lessons are fine. I'm a beginner Hindi student and have had trouble keeping myself motivated to learn it on my own outside of a structured learning environment. I'm interested in learning because my fiance enjoys Bollywood movies and music.
I would like to learn Hindi vocabulary, grammar, pronounciatio n, cultural context, and the Devanagari syllabary. I'd like to take 1-2 hours of lessons per week along with 2-4 hours of supplemental homework outside of class.
Because I work during the day, the lessons would need to take place either mornings or evenings. My work schedule rules out classes at ASU because those classes take place in the middle of the work day.
I'm looking for a teacher who speaks Hindi fluently and who knows the parts of speech (noun, verb, adjective, etc.). My fiance will help with homework.
