My mother tongue is Dari and that is the language i speak at home. however, the dialect that we use to speak Dari has been greatly distorted after living for a number of generations away from Afghanistan. I always have had a fascination for both Dari and Farsi and I would now like to make a conscious effort in trying to improve it from a good Farsi teacher.
I would definately prefer my Farsi teacher to be an Iranian or an Afghani so that there are no dialect issues while i learn the language from him.
