I am a New Zealand born Chinese boy, so English is my first language. My family speaks Cantonese, so I am able to understand and speak simple Cantonese phrases but I would like to become fluent in this language. Although I can not currently speak Mandarin, I would also like to become fluent in this language, as I recognise that there are huge opportunities to do business in China.
I am very dedicated to learning both Cantonese and Mandarin and I would like to accelerate my learning wherever possible.

My name is Jessica Moorby, I am 15 years old and I am looking for a Korean teacher who is fluent in both Korean and English. I have already tried to learn as much Korean as I can from text books and I can read all characters and I know some basic words. I feel that I can not learn the language properly without a teacher. I want to learn Korean because I would like to be a translator in the future and I would like to live in Korea as it is a very beautiful country and the language is nice to listen to. I plan to travel to Korea with one of my many Korean friends in September of 2005. I am looking forward to this as it will be my first time to go to Korea. I am also planning to take Korean at University and maybe go on an exchange while I am attending University. I am looking for a teacher that will put pressure on me to learn and also a teacher that will help me pronounce the words right. I am very dedicated to learning Korean and will study every night.
