I am gettng married to a girl from Slovakia. I am interested in studying the Czech language because I am unable to find a Slovak language teacher in Australia. I believe Czech and Slovak are somewhat similar languages and my fiance's parents can understand Czech. I would like to be able to converse, however basically, with them when I travel to Slovakia for our wedding in June 2007.
I was in Bratislava for 3 months in 2005 and I undertook private lessons in Slovak. However, upon returning home i have not continued studying. Although i have not learned any Czech, I hope some of the basic concepts I have already learned will help me initially in learning the Czech language.
I am wiling to spend atleast 2 hours per week in class and will endeavour to study further on my own.

I am studying Masters Of Accounting at University from late on February. My English level has not reached University students level yet. At the time I finished last language school,my class was upper intermediate in Accademic corse. I particulary need to enhance writting skill because I am taking IELTS test on 3rd of Feb.I would like to have class one in two days and 2hours per day.

I studied Bahasa Indonesian for two years at university and was reasonably proficient. I recently visited Malaysia and found that not only were the languages very similar but that I remembered some of what I had learned and was able to recognise more words as the holiday progressed.
I would love to visit Malaysia again and would prefer to have a better grasp of the language. I really don't remember enough from university to classify myself as anything except beginner.
I would like to have the opportunity to speak with a native speaker and also have the basic lessons so that I can try to pick up where I left off. I am happy to look at tailoring a tutoring program that is suitable to myself and the teacher. I am a shift worker so I cannot guarantee which day is more suitable than others. I would prefer lessons in person, however I understand that this isn't necessarily going to work where I live.

I am the co-ordinator for a Support Group who have adopted children from Thailand. A number of members are interested in arranging Thai language lessons for their children. The level would be basic & lessons would have to be developed for children. An added benefit would be for the children to learn about the Thai cultural.

I come from a family that totally consists of Croatians.
Though unfortunately as a child my parents only spoke to me in English, and as a result i have an EXTREMELY limited understanding of the language.
Most of my relatives have to use a mixture of both Croatian and English for me to understand what they're trying to say.
I want to change this. I really want to be able to communicate with the rest of my family. Get to know who they are and their personalities .
I want to learn basics and be able to have a fluent conversation with those who i know. Reading and writing as well. Eventually i hope I can adopt it as a TOTAL second language.
I am looking for someone who can offer me all this.
This is something I have wanted for years, but have never had the time to study. Now I have the time, and now I want to learn.
