I am interested in learning Japanese along with other languages, as many as I could possibly learn and I am only a beginner at all. I am just learning other languages since it is a good skill to have. Hajimemashite! I am barely a beginner in Nihongo. I'd like to learn because I want to go to Japan on a trip to see my friends there. And since I work for a Business Process Outsourceing Company, it would most definitely benefit me if I knew another second language aside from English. I am a recent college graduate with a minor in Japanese. I would say I am about at a intermediate level, however my speaking skills need much work. I am better at reading and writing, however I also need to learn more Kanji.
I am learning Japanese to have an advantage within my field of international business and marketing.
I am looking to keep my current language skills fresh and up to date as well as practice speaking the language more fluently and with less hesitation.
I am looking for 2 - 3 hours weekly. I work Monday through Thursday all day long, so I am looking to maybe come out Friday and Saturday mornings.
I am looking for a teacher that forces me to talk Japanese throughout the lesson. I feel I will learn better this way, my college professor was great but very lenient on using English if we were stumped.
