I am a mature PhD student and need to learn Arabic fast for research and future career purposes. Therefore I am interested in an intensive or a crash course, either in a group or privately.
Although my name sounds Arabic, I do not speak Arabic; I am a beginner.
Ideally the tuition would focus on the spoken language (Syrian, Kuwaiti and Iraqi) as I shall have to travel to the Middle East and meet people there. However, grammar, reading and writing, as well as some cultural aspects should be integrated.

I am half-Turkish and used to be fluent in Turkish as a young girl. After many years of living in Scotland. My Turkish is now very poor. I can understand Turkish quite well when other people are speaking. However, I cannot speak it as well. My grammar, pronounciatio n and sentence construction are poor.
I would like to improve my Turkish in order to speak to my relatives better. I can dedicate around 2 hours, one evening a week - preferably a Tuesday.
I am looking for a fun teacher with a good sense of humour. Someone who will be able to offer a mix of grammar lessons but someone with whom I can also just try chatting to in Turkish.
