I am a beginner--tho ugh I do have some CDs I've been listening to.
I will be working with a university and some public schools in Japan at the end of August.
I would like basic conversation but also need specialized school/educat ion vocabulary (pedagogy, curriculum, strategic planning...et c)
I would be able to dedicate at least one day a week in June and two days a week in July or I can cluster a few days together or do several evenings in one week, if needed.
I am 51 years old so I will need someone patient. But I am motivated to learn and have had success with learning languages in the past.

Beginner. I wish to learn Japanese for when I go to take a trip to Japan I am not completely lost. I would dedicate as much as I can on my own and with an instructor at least 2-3 hours weekly. I am looking to basically learn how to say phrases and understand them clearly. Learn the language as much as I can.
