I am an intermediate speaker who has lived in Italy for 6 months. I came back able to have simple conversations but have lost a lot of fluency and probably forgotten a lot of words. I am interested in both grammar classes and converation mainly to re-learn what i have forgotten and improve. I would be interested in 2-4 hours a week, preferably ona private or informal setting and an understanding teacher.

I have been learning for more than 30 years and am reasonably proficient at speaking. My grammar is reasonably good and, with the assistance of computer tools, I can write in French.Howeve r my oral comprehension leaves much to be desired. J'ai peur que je n'aie pas le 'don de langues'. My current professor is ill and will not be working for some time.
I would like to attend a conversation group because it is more agreeable then a one on one tuorial. I learn because I love the language, because it is a good cerebral exercise and because I occasionally need it when I visit a French speaking region. I have been taking one two hour lesson per week.

My wife and I wish to learn french to at least a level at which we would feel confident enough conversing with native speakers if we were to travel in Europe (France). We are a mature couple over 50 who are now semi-retired. My wife is a native spanish speaker (Chile).I myself only speak English.We have the time and resources to learn privately at our own pace but we need to be flexible as sometimes our family need us.The teacher we are looking for would need to have professional qualification s and experience and prepared to tutor us in a relaxed and flexible way.
