Hello,
My name is Julie. I am from Melbourne Australia. I am planning to go to Japan next year as a Tourist and would like to make my holiday more fulfilling by being able to speak and communicate in at least basic Japanese.
As well as have an understanding of basic etiquette (manners).
I am a complete beginner with no prior history of learning Japanese.
I would like to commit at least a solid 6 months or up until Christmas of this year and would be happy to learn in a classroom.
I would like a teacher who is from Japan and maybe has only moved to Australia in the last 5 years.

I am half hungarian and have an interest in learning the language for personal reasons.
i am open to suggestions as far as time i would need to dedicate to lessons etc..
I am interested in either a small class situation or private lessons. A small class would be more realistic as far as prices are concerned since i am a student.

I'm currently in a realationship with a sri lankan and he speaks sinhalese, we are going to have children in the future and would like our children to be able to speak both english and sinhalese. I thought that if both of us knew the language it would be easier for our children and also good for me to be able to communicate with his parents.
I 'm a beginner i would like to be good at sinhalese coversation.
2 days a week / evening would be good for me but am flexible.
I would like my teacher to be patient and understanding and honest.

I am enquiring for myself and a friend. My friend would be pretty much a beginner, and I would be medium level. I went to Alliance De Francaise for some time, and I progressed to intermediate 3, my reading & writing was not a problem, but my conversation was terrible, my friend learnt French at school 40 years ago. We would both like to learn French together, and maybe have 2 hour lessons each week. The qualities we would look for in a teacher would be to have patience, and throw a bit of humor in to our lessons
