Hello, I would like to know if you are still available to teach Tagalog? I have studied on my own off and on for several years and live with a native speaker who does not have patience to teach me. My wish is to learn Tagalog so that I may be able to communicate with native speakers in the Philippines. My daughter is one-half Filipino; I would like to encourage her to learn as much about the culture and peoples of the Philippines as possible so that one day we may visit this country and be comfortable in our ability to communicate. I am a beginner and have been studying some Tagalog on the Internet. I will dedicate as much time as possible in learning the language, as it is my wish to also teach my daughter to speak Tagalog. I believe it is best to begin teaching her Tagalog now, so it is easier for her to learn. I need a teacher who can be patient with me as I learn, someone who is interested in helping my daughter and me understand the Tagalog language, as well as the culture and attitudes of native Filipinos. I greatly appreciate any response to my request!
