I am looking to learn French simply for the the pleasure of knowing a second language. I am a beginner. I did take two years of french in a class room setting and it was very hard for me to keep up and I have retained very little. The French spelling and grammer are also a challenge for me. I would like to have weekly lessons for 60-90 minuets.

My name is Vani, im an indian lady from Malaysia. I would like to learn French language since im interest in learning the language. In fact i used to travel around the world and here in Jakarta, i can see more french people and i would like to be their friends and the language would be more useful. Beside this, as Malaysian citizen, i can speak, telegu, tamil, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and also English. i hope the french language will be more helpful for me in future.
Actually im a beginner for this language. I dont have any basic. Before this, i would like to know the cost of the price for a lesson or an hour, then it will ease me for make decision to determine how many class i needed for a week.
I prefer the teacher is more friendly and could speak English, it is easier for them to explain to me if i have make any mistake in pronounciatio n and also the meaning of each words. Other than that, it is easy to communicate between us and i need to see the improvement in my self and the teaching method should be approachable and effective.

I am a teacher looking for employment and would like to expand my abilities by being able to teach french.
In order for me to become qualified as a french teacher, I need to take a course. In order to enroll in the course, I need to have either 5 courses from University, or score a 4.5 on the University of Ottawa's TESTCan. I took only one french course in university, but got over 90. I need to learn to speak french in order to pass the test.

I want to learn foreign language because I love to learn other language. Ya. that's all. neither about career advancement, or I'll take study abroad. And now, I interest with French, since I realize that many countries beside France use French as their official language.
My proficiency level maybe at 'beginner' for all. Beside English, I've learned German.
I've stuck with grammar. And in my humble opinion, grammar should be learned naturally through conversation or story. So I looking for teacher who friendly and maybe 'talkative' :).
Since learning language is learning culture, so it will be great for teacher who ever live in France :)
