Beginner, never study Swahili. I would like to learn because I hope to work in East Africa and travel there next year. I would like to meet once or twice a week for 6 weeks to start. at present i only speak english but i am sick of being one of those stupid american monolingual types.
i would like to find someone who just likes to have fun teaching
i supose it would take an hour or two a week
i ride my bike all year round and dont drive so you would need to be in the general mpls area.
i cant afford much but i if you are willing to work with me ill see what i can scrounge up, and ill buy the coffee.

I have never studied Swahili and would like to begin learning now, because languages are easier to pick up when you are young. I am planning to study in Kenya in a few years and would like to arrive with a sufficient grasp of the language. I would say 4 hours at least a week.

Greetings from the United States!
The organization that I work for is looking for a Swahili language school to train approximately 8-12 students in beginner's Swahili.
We hope to locate a language school where our students will receive 4 hours of Swahili training each week day for the month of June 2006.
The students will also participate in technical training in the afternoons led by our organization. Space for these lab sessions may also be needed for our group.
