I want to learn Japanes so I can speak to my wife in her language and not always in mine. I have a very basic grasp of the language but have never tried to study in seriously. I once tried in a classroom but I did not think the teacher was good enough and I do not learn well just be lectured to. I want more one on one instruction that allows for more individual learning.

I am a under graduate and am pursuing english(h) through correspondenc e from D.U.
I work with a call centre.
I want to learn japanese till the last level so that I can take it up as a viable career option.
I would like to know hown to go about it as i have no clue as to how do we obtain a degree or diploma in this field.
I got 81.5 percent in my 12th standard examination which i passed from humanities stream.
