Japanese: I am a beginner, the only classes I have taken was in the summer of 2008, when I attended a 7-week language immersion program in Tokyo.
Spa nish: I am an an upper intermediate, I can read with relative ease but have trouble in conversations .
My goal is to be multilingual in order to give myself an extra competitive edge when applying for medical school, and to expand my career options in the future.
I would like to spend 1-2 hours per week in lessons, but with the understanding that it would be second to my university classes.
I am looking for either a native speaker or someone who is certified as a language teacher.

I want to learn Spanish simply to exercise my mind. In addition, I want to travel to Spain within 5 years. I study vocabulary on my own, but I need help with grammar and I still am struggling with listening and understanding . I have had seven years of formal Spanish lessons from high school and college, but really cannot converse confidently. Looking for conversation and grammar improvement. I work in the medical field so being able to guide conversations regarding a medical setting would be very beneficial.
