My proficiency level is beginner, i had a tutor before a couple of months ago but only went to two lessons then stopped going for some personal reason. I want to learn this language because um, my father is from chile, and my parents are divorced and i feel the need to, at least have some piece of him in my life because i never see him regularly and i thought it would be a god idea to learn his language and his cultures, let alone my friends bug me to learn spanish because most of them are south american anyway, i need improvement everywhere, but with pronouncing, i reckon im pretty good. I want to dedicate alot of time because i am terribly keen to learn spanish i find it facsinating and an incredible language, and happy that half my blood is apart of it.
Im just looking for qualitites from my teacher like, being very helpful, haha wont laugh at me if i get something wrong, and hope has the patience to deal with me when i cant deal with something, and be's very helpful.

Hello, My name is Trent and i am very interested in learning Lithuanian. I have fooled around on the internet and used some sites to learn the alphabet, and one or two phrases, but other than that i am effectively a begginer. The reasons i would like to learn Lithuanian are more romantic then anything else (i should be honest i figure). My current girlfriend is Lithuanian, and i would like to communicate withher freinds and her family (should i meet them) easier. Plus i have had a fascination with the Baltic countries. I know my reason isn't that solid of a reason, but i have just spent a year in Europe (Danmark) and have learnt another language and i would love to learn another...one that not many people may learn. I would be prepared to spend up two 6 hours (spread over two days) a week on learning Lithuanian. As for Qualiites in my Teacher, just that they know Lithuanian fluently, as i know its a very difficult language to master, other wise i get along with pretty much anyone.
