I am a complete begginer I wish to learn the japanese language for college in japan and permanent residency eventually.As I addressed earlier I am a complete begginer and would like for a tutor to touch base on all the areas conversation etc..I wish to dedicate a year or two when starting a foreign language it takes time. I am a beginner japanes student. I am interested in getting a M.A. in Asian Studies and a basic knowledge of Japanese is needed or encouraged. I don't have alot of available time but I would be looking to donate 2-3 hours a week, possibly more if time permits. I'm looking for someone that knows enough Japanese that they can assist me in achieving a basic understand and ability to communicate in basic conversationa l setups.

1) I want to learn Japanese, and I only know some vocabulary and some very basic sentences now.
2) I want to learn Japanese because I want to live in Japan for a few more years (I've been here almost 2 years now). Also, my girlfriend is Japanese and her family does not speak English.
3 ) I need to learn the spoken version of Japanese. I am not so interested in reading and writing Japanese now (but maybe later).
4) I want to take one lesson each week at my apartment in the Imazato area of Osaka Shi.
5) My Japanese teacher much be able to speak English at a basic conversationa l level.
