I don't have any experience speaking either in conversation. I would consider speaking conversationa lly a higher priority than learning to read and write but feel that they would speed the process up quite a bit. :)
realistical ly I would dedicate an hour to 2 hours a week in lessons but of course would put in my own time outside of instruction. I am interested in learning Hindi because my Boss and his family speak it. I would like to be able to converse with them and their associates in their native language. I feel that I would benefit both in my career and also in my personal life by learning Hindi. I am a Beginner who is taking the very first baby steps in learning this language. I am able to dedicate an hour per day or seven to ten hours per week. I am seeking a teacher who is patient and has the time to interact on an individual level online when needed. In my lessons, I am seeking to learn to comprehend and speak the language and to eventually learn to write it.

I would like to obtain Gujarati fluency. I grew up speaking the language with my family and doing some very basic reading and writing. I have recently done some self study so have re-familiariz ed myself with the alphabet, basic grammar, sentence structure, etc. I am still struggling to tie sentences together and express cohesive thoughts. I can quite easily understand most exchanges between native speakers.
I am looking to pass a basic proficiency exam in Gujarati in 12-14 weeks so therefore would like to engage in an intensive, structured learning program with a skilled tutor.
