Hi,
I am interseted in learning Japanese for career advancement as my compnay has operations in Japan and i do not know a word of it. I am an absolute beginner and so would have to learn from the scratch. I have an accounting background and I have been working in the financial services field, where i come accross a lot of Japanese scripts while checking the documents related to Japan. Thought it will be nice to know it myself than having to depend on a translator going forth. Please suggest a suitable short course.

I am a beginner who would like to learn for fun and possible career advancement later in life. I would like to learn mainly a conversationa l understanding of the language. I would like to dedicate between one and three hours a week for lessons with additional time set aside for practice.
