I can basically read the Hangul characters but do not know what they mean. Would like to learn Korean because I love Korean entertainment and have been watching a lot of reality shows.
My focus would be on conversationa l Korean and being able to understand spoken Korean. I prefer to have face-to-face classes so I can ask questions and clarify problems directly.
As I work in the afternoon, it would be better if the classes are conducted in the morning, once or twice a week (weekdays preferred).
I want a teacher who is energetic and articulate. Someone who makes learning interesting, someone who enjoys listening to Korean music and watching Korean shows would be a plus so we share a common ground =)

Hello there this is Choong from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I've got directed here in effort of searching a private or 'group' teacher teaching in either Japanese or Korean languages, till recent I don't acquire the least proficiency on both the languages mentioned.
I'm always interested in learning new languages and cultures for it's one of the very method to expand my vision in lifetime.
In daily life I speak in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Malay and a little Hakka of Chinese's dialects.
When comes to teacher, of course one who's dedicated in teaching and offer enough help when teaching languages, different from other subjects I meet in school like mathematics and sciences, I understand that teaching nor learning languages wouldn't be a succeess without commitment and dedication from both students and teachers.
I place learning language as self-earning more than materialized- earning unlike people who chases trends, very unique and special and object I look upon a new language to me, and without learning the least such as one or two of its words. It agitates me to when I'm facing two personnel speaking in language I do not know, the urge for me to learn is strong.

I'm interested to learn Korean. Learning as in able to read, write and converse in korean. The purpose of me learning is basically due to interest and also for self development. My name is calvin. i have taken 3rd level of korean languange in my university. i guess i need to pursue to the intermediate level of korean lanruages lesson.
I am very interested in learning korean. I feel great when i able to speak languages other than my native language. last time when i was at university my korean language improve so much. But stop learning after i start working. hopefully i am able to speak well in korean after the lesson.
I would love to dedicate my weekend time to take korean lesson once a week.
