I am looking to learn how to speak Russian. I am traveling from England and will be in New Zealand for 2 years.
My main purpose for learning is my boyfriend is from Ukraine and speaks Russian. I want to be able to speak with him in his native language as he always has to speak to me in English.
I would say I am a beginner. I know most of the alphabet, can count to 10 and can say some basic sayings or words.
I am staying in Tauranga, and would prefer to learn with a teacher in person.
I am hoping I can make good progress over a 4 month period of weekly lessons. Depending on what I will be advised.
